Ernst Hiemer's 1940 antisemitic children's book, published in Nuremberg by Julius Streicher's Stürmer-Verlag and presenting Jews to German children as parasites, mongrels, and pests through allegorical pieces and crude line drawings, here in modern English-language reprint. Designed as Nazi youth propaganda to instil racial hatred through illustrated stories aimed at children and adolescents.
The volume comprises Hiemer's allegorical short pieces, 'The Mongrel Race,' 'The Scoundrel Pack,' 'The Blood-Suckers,' and others, each pairing crude antisemitic parable text with the original line-drawn illustrations and presenting Jews as parasites, mongrels, sparrows, bedbugs, and similar dehumanising tropes.
Note: a piece of National Socialist hate literature in modern reprint form, of interest to historians of Nazi propaganda and of the Stürmer apparatus. Printed by a contemporary far-right reprint house specialising in Third Reich source material. Paperback in white card wraps with red border, the title 'The Mongrel' across the top and a reproduction of the original 1940 cover artwork (red dachshund-pug-poodle hybrid on a yellow ground) at centre; cover banner at the foot reads 'Translated from the Third Reich Original, Der Pudelmopsdackelpinscher.'

ספר ילדים אנטישמי משנת 1940 מאת ארנסט הימר, שיצא לאור בנירנברג בהוצאת Stürmer-Verlag של יוליוס שטרייכר והציג בפני ילדים גרמנים את היהודים כטפילים, בני-כלאיים ומזיקים באמצעות סיפורים אלגוריים ואיורי קו גסים, כאן בהוצאה מחודשת מודרנית באנגלית. הספר תוכנן כתעמולה נאצית לנוער שנועדה להנחיל שנאה גזעית באמצעות סיפורים מאוירים המיועדים לילדים ולבני נוער.
