Hitler: Speeches and Proclamations 1932–1945. Max Domarus's Complete Documentary Chronicle, Bolchazy-Carducci – Extremely Rare Complete Four-Volume Set, 14 Years in the Making (1990–2004)
The single most comprehensive documentary record of Adolf Hitler's public voice ever assembled, every recoverable speech, proclamation, interview, letter and telegram he made between 1932 and 1945, dated, cross-referenced and annotated in exhaustive scholarly detail by the German historian Max Domarus (1911–1992).
Domarus began collecting Hitler's public statements in 1932, the very year Hitler became the decisive force in German politics, recognizing in real time, well before anyone could know how the story would end, that these documents would carry lasting historical weight. The German original appeared in two volumes in 1962–1963 and has stood ever since as the standard scholarly reference on the Third Reich's documentary record. This is the complete English-language edition, translated for the first time by Mary Fran Gilbert and Chris Wilcox and issued by Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, not in one release, but across four separate publication events spanning fourteen years: Volume I (1932–1934) and Volume II (1935–1938) in 1990 and 1992, Volume III (1939–1940) in 1997, and Volume IV (1941–1945) only in 2004. Because the translation project stretched across parts of two decades, genuinely complete, matching sets rarely survive intact, most copies reaching the market today have been broken up into single volumes by libraries and dealers.
Complete set of four hardcover volumes in illustrated dust jackets.
Condition: Very Good, bright, clean text blocks, tight bindings, dust jackets with only minor shelf wear. A handsome, complete, matching set of a work every major library and serious Third Reich collection is built around.
